Frequently asked questions about Bettress®
Why doesn't Bettress® have a headboard?
Headboard is not necessary to keep the beds together and therefore it is possible to keep the full focus on the quality of the mattress and other components.
Why does Bettress® consist of two parts?
The bedroom is usually on a floor and this makes it easier to get Bettress® upstairs.
Can I use an ordinary fitted sheet?
It is recommended to use a topper fitted sheet. This will keep Bettress® visible in the bedroom.
Can a Bettress® sag?
With normal use, Bettress® does not sag. This is also the reason why each lying side has a middle leg that needs to be mounted.
How do I get Bettress® at home?
Bettress® arrives in two boxes made from recycled cardboard. Additional recycled plastic is used for extra protection.
Is Bettress® difficult to assemble?
Assembly = screwing in a few screws and centre legs without tools. Every Bettress® is delivered with a clear manual and it is possible to view (via a QR-Code) a multilingual instruction video on the mobile phone or tablet.
How can I turn the topper?
There is a zip at the bottom of the topper. The two separate toppers can easily be turned over. One side consists of memory foam and the other of cold foam. Ideal if the bed partners want to experience different sleeping pleasure. It is important that the topper is turned back lengthwise so that the two separate parts do not slide over each other.
Can I turn the mattress around?
With Bettress® it is not possible to flip the mattress. This is not necessary because the Bettress® mattress is thicker than regular mattresses and sagging will only be minimal. (max 3 cm)
Do I have a warranty on Bettress®?
The warranty for the mattress under normal use is 5 years.
How do I know if my Bettress® is real?
A numbered certificate of authenticity is included with every Bettress®.
Why do I sometimes see a bulge on the front or side of Bettress®?
Over time, the mattress may shift from its integrated base. This can be easily remedied by tapping the side of the mattress in the right direction.
Do you feel the gap between the two beds?
The topper prevents the gap from being noticeable. The choice of two mattresses was deliberate in order to prevent the formation of indentations in the middle of a double mattress.
